Mayo Glamping opened in 2017. Inspired by movies and the love of the outdoors we provide luxury novelty accommodation, from Hobbit huts, A Frame Nordic cabins and a railway carriage.

Our facilities:

We currently have 8 individual units which consist of:

3 hobbit huts that sleep 2 to 4 people. Each hobbit hut has one double bed and a day bed which opens out into a queen-size bed, with WIFI and smart TV.

3 A frame cabins which can sleep up to 4 people in each, there is a double bed at the ground floor and a double in the loft. Each A frame has WIFI and a movie projector on the ground floor which operates via chromecast.

Our harry potter railway carriage, platform 9&3/4s can sleep up to 6 people. There is two double beds and two single bunk beds. There is a mini kitchen with at microwave, kittle, toaster & fridge with seating area and

Our An Claddagh fairy hut can sleep 2 people, it has a mini fridge, sink and WIFI.

All huts have fresh bedding, eco electric heaters and power sockets with USB provided. There is also outdoor seating area at each hut with a firepit

Glamping Etiquette

When you arrive at the glamping site you can park your car at the office. If you need to, you can park in front of your hut when loading & unloading. Please be mindful of children playing around the huts.

Quiet hours around the huts are from 10PM to 8AM Please respect other residents staying on the site, no loud music shouting or singing. If you wish to have a singsong etc. our BBQ hut area is more suitable.

Leave as you like to find When using the communal areas such as the kitchen etc. please wash and dry utensils & dishes, and put them back in their original place.

When using the hot tub remove any fake tan or makeup before use. Strictly no smoking or eating while in the tub. Guest are allowed a drink while using the tub however over consumption of alcohol guest will not be permitted to use the area.

Dog Etiquette

Small/medium Dogs are welcome at Mayo Glamping in our A frame cabins only.

Please clean up after your pets, dog litter bins are located around the site. Mayo glamping is neighboring a sheep farm, strictly no chasing, keep dogs on leads. In the event of a barking episode please pacify the “noise”.

Do not leave your dog unattended in your cabin, or allow on beds and furniture. Dogs are not allowed in the communal kitchen.

Be mindful some guest will be frightened of dogs. Antisocial dog behavior will not be tolerated.
